I have a background in General Nursing.
My training was completed
at Guys Hospital in London,
where I also worked post graduation
until my move
out of London to Surrey. I worked in the local
hospital
and
a couple of Private Hospitals, whilst also raising three sons.
During this time I also completed a course on
Anatomy, Physiology
and Massage, which I wanted
to use in Hospice work with the terminally
ill.
However, due to a serious back injury I had
to leave nursing and
this is where I came into contact
with BodyTalk. It was my Practitioner
Karen Best who after
giving me sessions on a regular basis suggested
that
I take module 1 and 2, and I have not looked back since.
I took module 1 and 2 in January 2006, and have been
practicing
as a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner since July 2006.
I was fortunate
enough to take the advanced courses in the UK
and will continue to
keep up to date with further advanced courses
as my commitment to my
clients as well as The BodyTalk System™ and to massage therapy.
